The sign-in session, an exported CSV and work progress are three different kinds of data. Saving one does not save the other two.
The film was scratched off the day the balance was checked. The Sephora gift card page showed $40, the mall register showed $0.52, and support said the spend was in Tunisia.
A $100 Apple gift card package from Target held a $50 card. A Best Buy gift card from Freshco had a balance on the package number while the card number was inactive. The number on a CVS sleeve did not match the Apple gift card inside.
A Dollar General receipt for a $150 Apple gift card had no loaded line. Five Woolworths Apple gift cards said activation successful, and Apple later said they were voided. A Starbucks gift card at Target can take 30 to 60 minutes.
For a $400 Nordstrom gift card, Nordstrom pointed to Kroger, and Kroger pointed back to Nordstrom. The money on a Target gift card was in another Circle account. Nike gift card support could see an order and would not share it.
A father was talked into buying three thousand dollars of gift cards. That post did not name a brand. What the caller wanted was the new gift cards read out. Lowe's moving gift cards off self-checkout is a separate, named case.
Adding the Apple gift card and using the account both worked at the time. A disable can come months later, or a case can be found after a year and a half; a lock that lines up with one reload can later turn out not to be that Apple gift card.
A purchase was held after the Apple gift card redeem. The sticker price fit the balance, but tax made the charge higher and a card was requested. The account was called healthy while purchases stayed blocked.
Two Apple gift cards entered someone else's account the day they were bought. A second phone says already redeemed, and the balance is still in the first Apple account. An Apple gift card in an email was already used when it was opened.
On an Apple gift card redeem, a named storefront, a typo and already redeemed are three different sentences. A child account never reaches redeem. A balance already in the Apple account shows up after you sign out and back in.
On a GiftCardMall gift card the website and the phone are not the same sentence. When the address on the card will not open, use the address that GiftCardMall gift card phone menu speaks. The calls that got through used the number on the plastic.
A GameStop gift card still had its film, the phone said invalid, and the reply guessed expiry. For an old Michaels gift card, staff said invalid at the register usually means no money is left.
The Marco's gift cards needed the company phone. A Food Lion gift card was missing $300 in the middle. One gift card after another would not pay in line, and that line did not name a brand. A company Visa gift card never showed a deposit. A Verizon gift card balance menu had no activate option.
A GameStop email for a Razer gift card gave 14 digits starting with R. The Razer balance page said Invalid PIN. A Razer gift card redeem uses a different 19-digit number.
Starbucks booked unspent gift card value as revenue. New Yorkers are holding 55 million dollars in unspent gift cards. Lowe's deactivates a gift card 90 days after the balance hits zero. A number on the company books does not say whether the Starbucks gift card in your hand works today.
On eBay, a fifty-dollar Amazon gift card was listed at eighty or eighty-five. Another post asks why Amazon gift cards sell above face value. The replies are about who would buy at a loss.
Google was not required to refund gift card scam losses. A store and a brand blaming each other are still both talking. Here a ruling already says Google has no duty to refund.
What remains on a Hulu gift card shows up the next time it is charged. With no balance page, there is no step of checking once and then deciding whether to reload.
Valve is letting physical Steam gift cards sell out at retailers by the end of 2026, and cards already bought still work on Steam. In 2021 a Microsoft Xbox gift card fraud was reported at about ten million dollars, and someone was arrested in a million-dollar Walmart gift card scam. In 2015 Starbucks treated a gift card bug report as fraud.
A 2021 report said people were taking gift cards from large numbers of inboxes. That headline did not name one brand. An intact film does not show whether this email was opened. Reading the gift card over the phone is a different path.
