About GiftVeri and How Content Is Reviewed

What GiftVeri is

GiftVeri is an independent Windows client for checking the balance and status of Apple gift cards in several regions and of some US brand gift cards. FREE checks one card at a time; PRO (US$39/month) includes batch import, stop and resume, CSV export and a pre-activation check. The website handles accounts, subscriptions, instructions and support status; checks run only in the client, and the website never accepts card numbers.

GiftVeri has no affiliation, authorization or partnership with Apple, Walmart, Target or any other brand shown. Brand names are used only to describe scope.

What the content is based on

• Brand rules and regional limits: based on the brand’s official pages, linked next to the relevant paragraph. When an official page changes, the brand’s current wording takes precedence.
• GiftVeri’s own features: based on the client code and actual verification records; a feature is never assumed to work just because a menu exists.
• What is left out: success rates, processing times, unverified data retention periods, and region pages that differ only by country name without independent evidence.

What the two dates mean

Brand and region pages show both a “content and sources reviewed” date and a “verification record” date. The first is when the page text and official links were last checked; the second is when the client last obtained a business result for that brand or region. Re-checking the text is not the same as repeating a live-card check.

How support status is graded

The brand and region directory records support status, verification progress, page content and official release separately. “Integrated in development build” does not mean a real balance was obtained, and “balance read on record” only proves one result for a specific brand, region and date. Status changes only after new independent evidence; editing text, adding pages or passing a build never raises verification progress.

This website and the GiftVeri client are operated by GiftVeri, founded in 2024. Contact: hello@giftveri.com. Please never email full card numbers, PINs, passwords, verification codes, sign-in tokens or unredacted screenshots.

Use boundaries

Only check gift cards you own or are clearly authorized to check. Checks never activate, redeem or reload a card. How sensitive information is handled is described in the privacy notes.
