Get the current stable release from the website
Install or update GiftVeri through the download page. The website archive and the client updater's compatibility package each have a signed release manifest. Check the current version, release notes, file size and SHA-256 there. The download is public and needs no GitHub access. Launch `Giftveri.exe` from the website archive named `Giftveri-version.rar`.
Website edits do not change software you already downloaded. If an older client has no platform sign-in or update entry, check the version in its window and get the current release.
Extract the RAR before launching
The current Windows 64-bit website download is a portable RAR. Extract the whole archive into a writable local directory, then launch `Giftveri.exe`. Keep `_internal` next to the EXE; do not move only the EXE or mix runtime files from different versions. Python and Docker are not required.
Verify the file and SHA-256
Expand “File and integrity check” on the download page and compare the file name, byte size and full SHA-256. A matching file name cannot replace a digest check. Stop if the size or digest differs. Check the source when Windows shows a warning; do not disable system protection.
Save results and work progress before updating
Save the CSV files and progress you need, then stop active queries. These files may contain full card numbers; keep them in a controlled location and out of shared or repackaged program directories. Copying a program directory does not prove your platform session, brand session and results are backed up. See sessions, CSV and work progress.
Use the client update entry
Clients with an updater check after startup and platform sign-in. When a newer release is available, the account area shows an update button. Stop queries, then confirm the download and installation. The program verifies the package, swaps the directory and restarts. Automatic updates retain the ZIP compatibility package. Older builds without an updater can download the current RAR and extract it to a separate directory. Do not manually overwrite a running program.
Keep the old directory until the new program starts, shows the right version and your necessary data is saved separately. Deleting a program directory does not delete CSV files elsewhere.
Missing sign-in or launch failures
Use your GiftVeri website account for platform sign-in; brand accounts are separate. A website change does not automatically add platform sign-in to an older client. Check your client version, then follow the getting-started guide.
If the extracted program does not launch, check complete extraction, `_internal` beside the EXE, and the official download source. Follow the troubleshooting guide for authorization or export issues.
Check releases and brand evidence separately
A published release proves a file exists, while feature guides explain operations and brand pages record specific flows and live-card evidence. Downloading the current client does not guarantee a real balance for every brand. Read the support and verification guide before use.
