An empty status means the card is not activated or not enabled, and GiftVeri does not send the balance query. A non-empty status means the card already holds data, so GiftVeri continues the balance query and returns the balance and other details the brand sends. The check is read-only and does not affect later reloading of the card.

Scope
For US Lowe’s gift cards you own or are authorized to use. The current development build requires a 19-digit numeric card number and 4-digit numeric PIN and accepts only explicit USD amounts. Credit cards, other merchants’ gift cards and other regions should not be assumed to be supported; the workflow does not activate, reload, redeem, add to a wallet or look up transaction history.

On physical cards, the card number and PIN are on the back, the PIN under the scratch-off; for e-gift cards, use the card details in the original email. Confirm your PC environment and site verification
The existing workflow uses Microsoft Edge on the same PC and the selected connection profile, and waits for you to control the check and any verification. A public page opening does not mean the client session is verified; this page is not a release note.

Open the Lowe’s US single-card page
Confirm your development build has the entry and the card is a US Lowe’s gift card you lawfully hold. Platform permissions cannot replace site verification or raise a status that is pending live-card verification.
Check the input and connection settings
Enter the 19-digit numeric card number and 4-digit numeric PIN and check the selected connection profile. If the format does not match, stop and verify; never change the card’s digits to pass input checks.
Confirm the Lowe’s service linked from the official page
The development workflow opens a separate temporary Edge session. Confirm the destination is the balance service linked from Lowe’s help page and that it shows Lowe’s card number, PIN and check form; stop if anything looks wrong.
Control a single check and verification yourself
Click CHECK BALANCE yourself and complete any verification the site requires. The program does not solve CAPTCHAs, resubmit or switch connections automatically; if the page or verification requirements change, stop and verify.
Separate access status from balance
Only a USD amount explicitly returned in this run is shown. Access denied, rate limits, timeouts, a missing currency or unknown responses are never a zero balance or an invalid card; there is no real amount comparison on record yet.
Finish and clear this entry
After completing, cancelling or closing, the card entry and temporary session are cleared. Cancelling cannot recall a request already sent; if the result is unclear, keep the message and do not resubmit immediately. The full card number, PIN and verification details are never exported.
This page covers a standalone single-card workflow. Account permissions and brand capabilities are verified separately; a paid plan does not add batch checks for this brand.
Reading the result
Deactivation after a long zero balance
Lowe’s says cards with a zero balance for 90 consecutive days are deactivated and may show Invalid. This rule does not explain every error; look into it further only when an explicit result from the site matches the card’s history.Official sources: Lowe’s official balance check help
Access restrictions are not a card conclusion
Earlier development checks hit access denied on the main site, while the balance service’s empty form and public initialization were reachable. These are records of different stages and cannot prove or disprove a real card balance.
Use official help when you cannot confirm

Self-checkout stopped selling gift cards
Gift cards left self-checkout because someone on a phone was coaching the cashier through the sale. The store moved those sales to a staffed register. This is not a package swapped on the shelf.
GiftVeri shows the balance, a failure, and an unknown result separately. A $0 result counts only when this run returned that amount. If this gift card may not be activated yet, every brand uses the same pre-activation check: an empty pre-query status means the card is not activated or not enabled, and GiftVeri does not send the balance query.

Will it retry automatically if site verification fails or the main site will not load?
No. Verification failures, access denied, rate limits or timeouts keep their specific status first; the client does not switch routes, resubmit or use unknown services, and never shows a failure as a zero balance.

Can I batch import or look up transaction history?
No. This page records only a standalone single-card balance development workflow, with no batch promise; it does not read extended transaction history or put cards into the Apple queue. Plan permissions cannot replace brand verification.

The US Lowe’s single-card desktop entry, site verification session and result display are integrated in the development build and have passed local simulated testing; no live-card balance has been obtained from the site yet.
Live-card verification pending: the earlier empty form and public service initialization were reachable, but that does not mean full site verification or a real balance check succeeds. Real amounts, currency and comparison with the site are unverified; past access restrictions on the main site cannot be used to infer card status.
