On a gift card check for any supported brand, GiftVeri sends a pre-query to that brand official API and reads whether the card status in the response bytes is empty. An empty status means the card is not activated or not enabled, and GiftVeri does not send the balance query. A non-empty status means the card already holds data, so GiftVeri continues the balance query and returns the balance and other details the brand sends. The check is read-only and does not affect later reloading of the card.

Scope
For US lululemon gift cards you own or are authorized to use; only explicit USD amounts are shown. The current development build accepts 1–64 letters or digits for each of the card number and PIN; this is a local input limit, not a statement by the issuer about a fixed length, and does not show every card type works. Promotional cards, other regions and other card types should not be assumed to be supported; the workflow does not load to an account or wallet, reload or redeem.

lululemon’s page asks for the card number without spaces plus the PIN; the physical card PIN is on the back, and e-gift card details are in the card information. Confirm the US page and your PC environment
The existing workflow uses Microsoft Edge on the same PC and the selected connection profile, and prepares a single card after confirming the US region. There is no real balance verification yet; where a card can be spent in other regions does not translate into client coverage.

Open the lululemon US single-card page
Confirm your development build has the entry, and check the US scope and lawful ownership. Platform sign-in only reflects your software account and is not lululemon site verification or a passed live-card check.
Check the fields against the original details
Remove spaces from the card number as lululemon asks and compare it with the original card; the card number and PIN are each limited locally to 1–64 letters or digits. Do not pad, truncate or reshape card details to match placeholder hints.
Confirm the US balance area is ready
The development workflow opens a separate temporary Edge session; confirm the US page with Gift Card Number and Gift Card PIN fields. If preparation is incomplete or an unexpected page appears, stop and do not move into account or shopping actions.
Control Check Balance and verification yourself
Click Check Balance yourself and complete any verification the site requires. The client does not repeat the check, switch routes or switch to loading the card to an account; if the page changes, the run stays incomplete until you verify.
Check this run’s amount and currency
Only a USD amount explicitly returned in this run is accepted. A missing currency, non-USD values, business errors or unknown amounts are not a dollar balance, are never rewritten as zero and never reuse the previous result.
Finish and clear temporary details
After completing, cancelling or closing, the entry and temporary session are cleared. Cancelling cannot recall a request already sent; if the result is unclear, check the message before resubmitting. The card number, PIN and session details are never exported.
This page covers a standalone single-card workflow. Account permissions and brand capabilities are verified separately; a paid plan does not add batch checks for this brand.
Reading the result
An empty form is not a real amount
An empty form being ready earlier only shows the preparation stage passed. Amounts shown in offline simulation are not real results from the site; real reads and amount comparison are still pending.
Errors and non-USD results
Access denied, rate limits, incomplete verification, a missing currency or unknown responses do not show a card is invalid. The current US workflow does not convert other currencies or show errors as a zero balance.
A damaged or unreadable PIN
lululemon’s balance page suggests contacting them if the PIN is scratched off. This workflow does not recover or guess PINs, and does not use loading to an account or checkout as a substitute for a balance check.Official sources: lululemon US official balance page and Q&A
The page said the PIN was wrong, and support could see $25
A card bought at Walgreens failed both a scan and hand entry, and the page said the PIN was wrong. Support could see $25 and moved the money to an e-gift card. The client receives the result of that balance page, on that run.
Numbers matched at Christmas, and the app still said invalid
The numbers matched, and the app still said invalid. Staff described it as an outage at the time. The store could scan the card, and online use waited for support to move the balance to a new card. Invalid during that outage is not an inactive card.
A 4-digit PIN describes this third-party card only
On another card bought from a third party, the card number was accepted and a 4-digit PIN was not. Support was ready to void the original card and send an e-gift card. Four digits describe that card, not every lululemon PIN.
GiftVeri shows the balance, a failure, and an unknown result separately. A $0 result counts only when this run returned that amount. If this gift card may not be activated yet, every brand uses the same pre-activation check: an empty pre-query status means the card is not activated or not enabled, and GiftVeri does not send the balance query.
FAQ
Do the card number and PIN have a fixed length?
This page makes no fixed-length promise. The current build accepts 1–64 letters or digits for each; 64 is a local input limit, not lululemon’s card length. Check against the original card, and do not infer every card type from placeholder text.
Do I have to click Load your gift card before checking?

Can I check cards from Canada or other regions directly?
This page makes no such promise. The current workflow checks for the US page and USD results; other regions or currencies need separate verification, and where a card can be spent is not the same as client support.
The form is ready or verification finished. Does that mean balance checks work?
No. Preparation and a real amount are two different stages; so far only the empty form and offline simulation are confirmed, and live requests and balance comparison are still pending live-card verification.
Will access denied, timeouts or a currency mismatch show as a zero balance?
Not in this development workflow. These states stay incomplete or unknown, and only an explicit USD amount from this run counts. Failures are not retried automatically and old amounts are not reused.
Can I batch check, combine cards or add them to Apple Wallet?
