Sign in to the client with your website account
To check a gift card or run a batch, sign in to the client with your GiftVeri website account first. FREE checks one gift card; an active PRO plan adds batch import, stop and resume, and export. See the download page for the current stable release and release notes. Check the download and release status first to confirm your client has a platform sign-in entry.
The platform account manages software permissions; Apple / brand accounts are used for brand sign-in and card checks. The two are managed separately, and platform sign-in never replaces brand initialization.
Website registration, email confirmation, forgotten passwords and suspended accounts are covered in the website account and password recovery guide.
Signing in and restoring the session
Click “Platform sign-in” at the bottom of the client and enter your website account email and password. After signing in, you can see the platform account and the current active version. The client only stores the sign-in token encrypted and does not store the platform password.
Reopening the client under the same Windows user tries to restore the saved platform session and verify permissions online. You can also click “Restore / refresh authorization”. If the session has expired, you need to sign in again; restoring the platform session does not submit card checks automatically.
FREE, PRO permissions
- FREE: single-card checks and result viewing.
- Active PRO: single-card checks, plus batch import, batch checks, CSV / work-progress export and copying results.
- Active PRO: all of the above, plus the pre-activation check. On every supported brand, GiftVeri sends a pre-query to that brand official API. An empty card status in the response bytes means the card is not activated or not enabled, and GiftVeri does not send the balance query. A non-empty status continues the balance query. The check is read-only and does not affect later reloading of the card.
- Paid versions can be subscribed monthly online after signing in on the pricing page, and the plan activates automatically after a successful payment; an administrator can also set a plan directly.
The website account center lets you view your own plan and subscription. The plan name and the currently available permissions must be read together with the status and expiry: a paid plan that has expired or been revoked no longer provides batch capability.
Order status, plan activation conditions and online subscription are covered in the plans and order status guide.
Why a check stops partway
Authorization is re-verified online before every restricted action, and a batch check also checks before sending each card. When the account is suspended, a paid plan expires, or authorization temporarily cannot be verified, the client stops the matching action.
A brand check already sent cannot be recalled by changing the platform plan. Unsent tasks stay pending and are not resent automatically when authorization is restored. After checking the interface status, you decide explicitly whether to continue.
Order for handling authorization problems
- Confirm the website and client use the same platform account.
- In the account center, check the account status, plan status and expiry.
- After the network recovers, refresh authorization manually and see whether it still says it cannot be verified.
- If it says the session expired, sign in again; if it says the account is suspended, contact your platform administrator to check.
You do not need to provide your platform password, sign-in token or full card number to troubleshoot an authorization problem. Noting the client version, the message and the time it happened is enough.
Signing out of the platform account
“Sign out of platform” clears the platform session saved on the machine and tries to end the current session on the server. If a network problem means the server sign-out is not confirmed, the client says so clearly; the local platform sign-in information is still cleared.
Signing out of the platform does not delete CSV or work-progress files you exported. The storage locations and purposes of the different data are in sessions, CSV and work progress.
