First look at account, plan and orders separately
The account center shows your profile, software plan and product orders together, but the three kinds of record serve different purposes.
- Account status decides whether the current user can enter the account center and use the platform API.
- The plan record decides the current active version and which features the client can use.
- Order records keep the order number, amount, currency, status and date, and do not directly represent software permissions.
An order record is not a plan record, and showing an order never grants PRO automatically. Brand support and live-card verification are yet another layer of information; see the support status and live-card verification guide.
Account status comes before the plan check
Only when the account status is “active” does the system go on to read the software plan. When an account is suspended, both the account center and the client authorization API refuse access; even if PRO records still exist in the database, the matching capabilities are not opened.
Resetting the password does not restore a suspended account, and an order status does not bypass account suspension. The administrator who manages that platform account needs to check the status.
How FREE, PRO take effect
A new account is created with FREE by default. An active PRO requires all of: the plan status is active, the version name is recognizable, and there is no expiry or the expiry is still in the future.
The client opens features from the plan that is active now: FREE checks one gift card; an active PRO plan provides batch import, batch checks, stop and resume, copying results and CSV / work-progress export. An active PRO also provides the pre-activation check for every supported brand: GiftVeri sends a pre-query to that brand official API. An empty card status in the response bytes means the card is not activated or not enabled, and GiftVeri does not send the balance query. A non-empty status continues the balance query. The check is read-only and does not affect later reloading of the card. After the plan expires, is revoked or is downgraded to FREE, the pre-activation check turns off.
The pricing page lists each version’s scope and price: PRO is US$39/month, billed monthly.
What active, expired and revoked each mean
“Active” means the plan status is normal and the current time has not passed the expiry; with no expiry set, judgement continues from the record status. “Expired” means the expiry has passed. “Revoked” means the plan was explicitly stopped.
Expired, revoked, an unrecognizable version, an invalid expiry time or a missing payment record are all handled as FREE capability; paid permissions are never silently kept during an error or network problem. Account center dates are shown in UTC, so watch the time zone when checking an expiry date.
Why the client re-checks before an action
The client re-reads the current plan before a batch or an export, and a batch also checks before sending each card. This way, revocation, expiry or account suspension can take effect before the next action begins.
When permissions cannot be verified online, the client stops starting new restricted actions and never treats a network failure as PRO. Brand checks already sent cannot be recalled by revoking a plan, and unsent tasks stay pending. The detailed rules are in the platform sign-in and authorization guide.
How to read order status
- Pending: the order record is not yet marked as paid, and you cannot gain a paid plan from it.
- Paid: the order record status is paid; you still need to check separately whether the matching plan was correctly created and is active.
- Refunded: the order record is marked refunded, and you should not infer from it that a paid plan is still active.
- Cancelled: the order did not complete and cannot be a basis for activation.
The account center shows only the most recent 20 orders, with the amount in the order currency and dates in UTC. Each successful subscription charge records one paid order. The order list is a read-only record and offers no refund button.
How to subscribe and activate online
On the pricing page, choose PRO, sign in to your website account first, then go to the Stripe-hosted payment page; this site never touches your bank card number. After a successful payment, the server verifies the result with Stripe and the plan is activated automatically to the matching version, usually within seconds; refresh authorization in the client to use it.
The plan stays active during the subscription period, and the expiry updates with each monthly renewal. After you cancel, it remains usable until the end of the current period; if a charge fails, the subscription ends or a cancellation takes effect, a plan activated by subscription returns to FREE automatically. Change version, update payment method and cancel subscription are all in the subscription management in the account center. Refunds are handled by contacting the platform administrator.
Plans an administrator set directly are handled separately from subscriptions: a plan an administrator revoked is not restored automatically by a subscription payment and needs the administrator to re-check.
Do not transfer money to any individual, and do not mistake the download and release status for a purchase page. The website only takes payment through Stripe and never generates a simulated paid order.
When the plan and order display do not match
- Confirm the website and client use the same GiftVeri platform account.
- In the account center, note the account status, plan name, plan status, expiry and order number separately.
- Manually refresh client authorization and see whether the active version and capabilities update.
- If the plan has not changed right after payment, wait a moment and refresh, rather than paying again.
- If an order shows as paid but the plan does not change for a long time, stop repeating actions and contact the platform administrator to reconcile the two kinds of record.
- If the plan has expired or been revoked, signing in again does not re-grant paid permissions.
A problem report may include the order number, version name, status and redacted times, but not passwords, sign-in tokens, full card numbers, brand accounts or payment credentials.
Check official releases and brand support
An active plan only means the platform allows a class of features; it does not mean the current official release client already includes that entry, nor does it guarantee any brand or region can obtain a real balance.
Check the actual released version on the download page first, then view support status and verification progress in the brand directory. The installer you have follows the download page; feature notes on the website can be newer than the published installer.
